‘.. the last house at the edge of the valley. The number one guest house in Cyprus. We have taken an old stone village house, lovingly renovated it to a very high standard, and created a haven of peace and tranquillity with wonderful views.

Maroni  is a delightful village set apart from the usual tourist tracks, offering the perfect base for touring this lovely Mediterranean Island , situated as it is midway between the 3 major Towns of Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca, each only 25 minutes drive away. Set on the edge of a dry river valley and surrounded by gentle rolling hills with views to the south of the sea, a 2 minute drive or ½ hour walk to sandy beaches, and to the north of the Troodos Mountain Range and ski slopes, an hours drive away. The neighbouring Village of Zyggi is famous for its waterside Fish Tavernas, and many other surrounding villages all have their own delightful Tavernas offering warm hospitality and good local food.

Maroni boasts a supermarket, Bank, Post Office, Hairdresser and Beautician.

The accommodation we have to offer:-

Two rooms, beautifully and stylishly decorated, serviced daily. One double with an antique half tester bed and the other with 2 antique single, iron beds, made up with crisp, white cotton bedding. Both have en-suite shower rooms, fully provided with quality towels, bath robes, hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner. Both rooms have A/C's/heaters. French doors open out onto private terraces which look out over the swimming pool and garden furnished with umbrellas and sun beds, and a tree shaded seating area with stunning views down over a dry river valley.

For the use of both rooms we have a kitchenette with washing machine, iron and ironing board, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.

Breakfast is a mouth watering choice of cooked English breakfast, fresh fruit salad, delicious local yoghurt and honey, lashings of toast, home made marmalade and jams, home made muesli, a jug of orange juice and pot of fresh brewed coffee or tea. All products are sourced from good quality, fresh, local produce.
