Maroni  is a delightful village set apart from the usual tourist tracks, offering the perfect base for touring this lovely Mediterranean Island , situated as it is midway between the 3 major Towns of Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca, each only 25 minutes drive away. Set on the edge of a dry river valley and surrounded by gentle rolling hills with views to the south of the sea, a 2 minute drive or ½ hour walk to sandy beaches, and to the north of the Troodos Mountain Range and ski slopes, an hours drive away. The neighbouring Village of Zyggi is famous for its waterside Fish Tavernas, and many other surrounding villages all have their own delightful Tavernas offering warm hospitality and good local food.

Maroni boasts a supermarket, Bank, Post Office, Hairdresser and Beautician.

The accommodation we have to offer:-

Two bright, airy, stylishly furnished guest rooms. One double room with an antique iron ½ tester bed, and one room with either large double or twin beds, depending on guests preference, all made up with crisp white cotton linen. Both have en suite shower rooms fully provided with good quality towels, bath robes, shampoo/conditioner/soap, pool towels and a hair dryer. French doors open out onto private shady terraces.

For the use of both rooms we have a kitchenette with washing machine, iron and ironing board, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.

Breakfast, taken al fresco out on the upper terrace, consists of a mouth watering choice of cooked English breakfast, fresh fruit salad, delicious local yoghurt and honey, lashings of toast, homemade preserves, top quality muesli, a jug of orange juice and pot of fresh brewed coffee or tea. All products are sourced from good quality, fresh, local produce.
